I agree, there are many ‘female’ bodies which deviate from the (united states is my point of reference) model of emphasized femininity expounded upon in the media and are therefore not considered ‘women’ in society.

For instance female bodied people who identify as women but get perceived as ‘lesbian’ or ‘dyke’ anything that marks them as ‘other’ and somehow not ‘woman’ in public interaction they are often ‘sir’d’ even when adorned with markers of femininity (ya know those stereotypes).

It’s a bit confusing actually……

…so “plenty of [women] have round behinds and curvy hips,” but don’t get to exist as “female” in the world either
